OMG POTC 2 was so amazing. I've already seen it 3 times (can't get enough of Johnny). this trilogy is dare I say.... better than Star Wars...... better than Harry Poter and Lord of the rings.....COMBINED!!!
This is seriously one of the best ideas ever.....I knew it would set a box office record. Who wants to bet Johhy gets the oscar this time around!?!?!

While POTC 2 was certainly entertaining, it lacked the clever writing and witty character interaction that made the first one such a gem, relying instead on overwrought action and special effects. The ending (after a long 2 hrs. 30 min) also makes Part 2 unbearably dependent on the other two films for its introduction and conclusion. Trilogy or not, each film should be able to stand on its own, at least a little.
