I just don't get it. Growing up in the public eye must be tantamount to child abuse. These 19 year old girls walk around like eccentric 90 year olds. I'm not vertain who is advising them, but with 300 million dollars in the bank, you can afford a hair brush.

She's dressed like that because of the anorexia she HAS NOT recovered from. Anorexics tend to be cold ALL the time, even if it is 105 degrees they're cold. An added benefit to layering clothes and looking like a total jackass is that her "fat" will not be seen. She is either trying to hide her bones or her fat.

We know that growing up as a child star can fuck you up since you don't really gain any true wisdom about life through experience. How can you learn about the world when everything is done for you and or given to you on command? Some child stars manage to pull it off and remain normal but it seems that is not the case with these two.
I would be very interested to see what they are like in their thirties. Even if they don't have careers they will always have their money, or will they? *cough MC Hammer cough*

The difference between Hammer and the Olsens is longevity. There will always be young girls who catch Full House in syndication, and then follow the twins along to their prolific, yet mediocre, video catalogue. All Hammer had was a humdrum, meretricious sample of a decent Rick James song and parachute pants. We all know where they went, thankfully.

Just because she's wearing warm clothes doesn't mean she's not recovered from her anorexia. She's maintaining a healthy weight, but she probably is still self conscious about her body, hence the baggy clothes. And she isn't completely recovered, because recovery is a long process. But she is healthy, so no, she probably just doesnt mind being hot. And it's part of her "style." Why would she stop just because she's done with treatment for her eating disorder? And most of it wasn't even an eating disorder, it was a drug addiction.

Maintaining a healthy weight? Since when are the double digits healthy for anyone over 13?
