It might not be fair to compare the two "professions" because they operate under different parameters.
Porno stars are above street walkers, but not by much. The people in porno films don't get to choose their partner either but at least some aspects of the industry are supposed to be regulated for health purposes. I am sure they don't all follow the rules but if I was a porno star I wouldn't sign on with them if they didn't. Street walkers are playing with fire, you run a much higher risk of a disease, being beaten up on a daily basis or worse killed.
I do see what you are saying, if they say "I get paid to fuck" it's the same thing a hooker would say, and you are right in that respect but they are different....jobs (no pun intended).
