Emma, I know many female students at universities who are into glamour modelling, I know because I am a member of staff at a uni for the past 17 years. They have "University girls" calendars and beauty pageants so I guess you werent considered? It also true many graduates left the uni with huge dept to pay back and by the time they break even and start earning good money in their 30s for a woman they start having children which rules them out of the labour market. When the kids grown up they are then in their 40s and 50s and end up in low paid part time jobs.
