Yah Nana Visitor was preggers at some point (forgot when but in the first half of the lifespan of DS9) so they wrote it into the story.

With probably the exception of Jeri Ryan, I never did find any Trek woman genuinely sexy. Nicole deBoer was genuinely adorable but way too prepubescent-looking for hotness, and something never quite clicked for Terry Farrell when she was on the show, although I must admit the samples here are quite delectable (on the other hand, her career path suggests that she's a completely pretentious bitch).

I suspect ST never did get super hot women because of concerns that it would make their largest viewer demographic self-conscious (one can fantasize only so much).

And oh: Whoopi is many things, but "woman" is not one of them.

Whoopi is not a Klingon to whatever idiot that said that. Although she is far from hot, she was great as Guinan. The woman is a pretty good actress, despite her looks. Plus, there was a hot Klingon once on the Next Generation...Worf's old flame and the mother of his kid was pretty hot. She was a reoccurring character so she doesn't count, I think her name was K'Elar.

I still think Denise Crosby- Tasha Yar- was the hottest.

I was very surprised that Marina Sirtis was very hot in person. I met her briefly at a Star Trek Convention in Orlando in '96. She looked so much better in person than on the screen. I was expecting the opposite !?...

Well, there's always Jeri Ryan as "7 of 9." She's gorgeous. But in my humble opinion, when it comes down to sexy, you can't beat Sherry Jackson as "Andrea" from the TOS episode "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" That smokin hot little body, that thick gorgeous hair, that little girl face with those super sexy eyes, and that purr-like-a-kitten voice. Wow!

AGREED w/the "WHERE'S UHURA" questions...she was noticibly absent from the 1st batch of these too last week...even with NICHELLE NICHOLS(UHURA) glaring omission, JERI RYAN is still the ULTIMATE STAR TREK FANTASY GIRL...BY FAR...she's got that type of OUTRAGEOUS SEXINESS that you'd literally just hang long enough to check her hot ass out even if a particular episode was beat...SHE AIN'T LOST A DAMN BIT OF IT EITHER...TERRY FARRELL WAS CUTE TOO, but couldn't ever be favorably compared head-up to her...
