Nikki Sanderson (born 28 March 1984, Blackpool, Lancashire) is an English actress who is best known for playing Candice Stowe in the television soap opera Coronation Street. During her time at Coronation Street and since, she has also forged a career as a glamour model.
She has appeared in several British men's magazines in lingerie and other provocative outfits. In June 2006, Sanderson made the cover of British men's magazine FHM and was the headlining feature of the issue, combining a photo shoot and exclusive interview with one of the magazine's journalists.
In May 2006 Sanderson played for the England women's team in the Celebrity World Cup Soccer Six tournament. Her stout performance helped her team to the final, although they eventually lost.
She has worked as a television presenter on CD:UK.
British newspaper The Daily Express stated that Nikki was in the running to replace Billie Piper as the Doctor's companion in Doctor Who, however Freema Agyeman was chosen for the role. [Wiki]
