Golden Ameda Brooks (born December 1, 1970 in San Francisco, California) is an American actress.
Brooks has been featured in many films and television shows, and has appeared alongside actors such as Queen Latifah, Vivica A. Fox and Kevin Bacon. Currently, she plays Maya Wilkes (Joan's sharp-tongued secretary and now acclaimed author) on the CW sitcom, Girlfriends.
Before becoming an actress, Golden Brooks studied literature and sociology at UC Berkeley and earned her Master's degree at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. [Wiki]

this is a very good post for 'hot or not'. i've asked myself repeatedly whether this broad is hot or not. on her lame show, it's obvious she's got a kickin' rack. she's got a great ass too, but little boy hips, which turn me off. she's not the best looking either, but has great skin. so, my judgment: hot (but just barely).

I have seen so many posts where people pick celebrities apart....down to stupid things like the bridge of her nose. It's an African trait. Stop imposing these ignorant beauty standards on women. This woman is one of the most beautiful women I've seen on tv. We all have unique features - and hers work very well for her face. Some of us have Beyonce butts and some of us have Halle Berry butts. What difference does it make - they both have beautiful bodies. Learn to celebrate our differences. If we all looked the same - damn how boring life would be. If she was so unnatractive, I doubt she would be a topic of our conversation. Its very difficult to be appealing on camera. You have no control over angles- and she pulls it off very well. And she has the hottest style - She's always dressed very well. Keep looking fly Golden - you are very fly and beautiful to me.
