The show that brought us "Welcome to the OC... bitch!" is done. Farewell to The OC and Taylor Townsend. I'll admit that The OC was a guilty pleasure of mine and it even had Record Series status on my DVR. So last night's series finale gave us the warm fuzzies ending where everything turns out pleasant for the entire cast. With the fast-forwarding of the future of these characters we've grown to love and hate over the years it would only be fitting that the writers make an ending that doesn't leave us asking questions of why or wanting more. I'm fine with the way the show ended but how about you?
From the Wikipedia: The cable network SOAPnet purchased the syndication rights to The O.C. On Monday, April 9, 2007 the network will begin airing reruns of the show as part of an afternoon, high school drama line up with Beverly Hills, 90210 at 4 P.M. ET, One Tree Hill at 5 P.M. ET and The O.C. at 6 P.M. ET.

i was content with the way the show ended. didnt really get Kaitlin's ending. she's in class...thats nothing special. oh well.
now lets hope one of the hotties fails as an actress and succumbs to Playboy. well maybe not Rachel Bilson or Autumn Reeser. id actually like to see them succeed.

OMG its sooo sad that its over now..the ending was great tho wasnt it? it was so emotional with ryan going into the home and it flashing back to the first time he moved in..i loved the finale and i loved the o.c.

It is amazing how it has grown up with me and my friends and watching the last few episodes has led to some real nostalgic moments.
I'll miss it more than any other show

I think the show should have ended with ryan still loving marissa and a kind of tribute to them, I didn't really watch the show much after mischa barton died but i never really warmed up to Taylors character

never really watched a whole episode before, just scanned for the scenes with rachel or mischa. hell ,when it comes down to it ,they never even needed anyone else. just put those 2 (ok maybe..milinda clarke too) in there every week in swimsuits or lingerie and the show would have stayed on the air for another 10 years.
