Rachel Melvin (born February 9, 1985 in Elmhurst, Illinois) is an American actress.
Melvin graduated from Mountain Pointe High School in 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona where she was raised for much of her life. She has an older sister, named Jessica.
She landed her first acting job in the independent film, "Boo."
She is best known for her role as Chelsea Brady on the NBC soap opera Days of our Lives since May 2005. The character was introduced as Abigail Deveraux's (Ashley Benson) best friend. Chelsea was adopted by the Bensons as an infant and they raised her until their deaths in a car accident. DNA evidence proved that Chelsea was in fact Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Billie Reed's (Julie Pinson) long-thought-stillborn daughter Georgia.

I hate the way her long pointy chin slants to one side. Somehow the producers of Days think that an hour in the makeup chair will help us see past her ugliness and accept her as a young hottie. Hot she ain't.
