Police identified the classroom shooter as Cho Seung-Hui, 23, a senior from South Korea who was in the English department and lived in another dorm on campus. They said Cho committed suicide after the attacks, and there was no indication Tuesday of a possible motive.
"He was a loner, and we're having difficulty finding information about him," school spokesman Larry Hincker said. [YAHOO]

Admittingly, Bastardly could probably be more decorous about the tragedy but obviously a site named "The Bastardly" isn't going to be polite if they don't have too. In any case, it's strangely surprising - in a good way - not to see rampant racism in posts or comments either....

Okay, let me say this about that, first off you were an asshole, I watched the news this morning before work and they featured footage of the tape, now being a U.S. Veteran of the ARMY (active) I was stationed in SOUTH KOREA, CAMP CASEY, 2nd Inf. Div. and you saying about torture and all the other shit you talked about is bullshit that happens to this day in NORTH KOREA asshole what could you possibly know about any of it, You have disgraced your family and country with your stupid act of terror and taking your own life at the end just shows what a coward you were.
I however should offer my repect to your family, and to the loved ones of the victims. I cannot claim any religion however I do offer my prayers.
