Rodrigo Y Gabriela Make Acoustic Guitar Playing An Orgasmic Act

Holy God!
Some of you readers in NYC who saw Rodrigo y Gabriela a couple nights back @ Webster Hall can probably relate to my amazing experience last night. I had no idea what I was getting myself into heading into the gig, but it turned out to be a surreal experience. Yes, I understand that sounds kind of lame, but I shit you not, you bastards!!
To tell you the truth, I didn't think two acoustic geeetar players could satisfy a sold-out crowd @ the Roxy in Boston, but they went above & beyond than simply appease, my friends. All through the night, they tirelessly moved between strumming, pounding & gentle fingerpicking of their guitars as they covered famous songs from Rock & Roll legends like Slayer, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Metallica & others. From what I noticed, the crowd relished in every strum!
The sensational duo is comprised of a technical genius in Mr. Rodrigo, who probably makes chicks around the globe orgasm w/ his unique fingerpicking abilities & the extremely beautiful Gabriela (looks a little like Jessica Alba from 30 feet away), who plays her guitar like she's high on crack cocaine---there's really no other way to put it.
Since mere words cannot describe their live act, I would highly suggest anyone in the path of their USA tour to CHECK THEM OUT!! It cost me only $20 for a very intimate & jaw dropping experience, so from a value standpoint, it's a no-brainer!
UPDATE: Since their site is currently flooded & down, here's a list of their upcoming shows...

WOW!, the vid sounded good even on my cheesy laptop. Too bad they are sold out in my city or I would go see them.

the fucking coolest thing I've ever seen.

They're very good (and by that I mean they're better players than I am), but after they were so hyped up to me, I wasn't really all that impressed. Compared to acoustic guitarists like Don Ross, Antoine Dufour, Andy McKee, etc, they're not even in the same league.

They had me at the percussive interlude.

no 4 makes a good point. they're not the very best at what they do but its still kick ass to see real people with rockin' out with acoustic guitars with no gimicks. i wonder if they ever jam with Esteban?

Ya, whatever number 4....? These two are great.

No. 7-- look, I'm not dissing them. They are excellent, and the flemenco stylings on a song like "Stairway to Heaven" are very unique, interesting, and fun. But go to Youtube and check out the people I listed...add Tommy Emmanuel to the mix while you're at it. No disrespect to these two...but when someone starts going on about orgasmic acoustic guitar playing (and I heard about them before this post), I imagine them matching up with truly incredible players. If you're into guitar playing, go check out the people I listed. They're truly mindblowing.
