If she doesn't care anymore, she should drop out of sight. My suggestion would be to leave the country. To the extent she does care about having either (1) a career or (2) a neutral to positive public image, she needs to get on board with a professional image consultant. She doesn't have to live up to the image standards of pre-2003 Britney, either. Just choose an achievable image somewhere on the positive side of this I give up train wreck.
