If you've ever seen an episode or two of the reality show following her family around (yes, unfortunately, I've seen it), it becomes painfully obvious that she and her supposed "singing career" are truly textbook examples of trying desperately to manufacture an artist from scratch, regardless of a total lack of any talent. Her dad is literally trying to buy a career for her.
