legs, most top models don't do runways unless it's an exclusive. runways are for new models who want to get there names out there. they usually do 50-70 shows per season. probably alessandra & adriana went through the same thing before they have their multi-million dollar contracts. to be called "supermodel" means the model has become a household name. i think this is the definition that the fashion world and the public has agreed on. i don't think this caroline has done that yet.

legs, daria werbowry has done more work done gisele in the fashion industry. gemma ward has done more vogue covers than gisele & she's only 19. both appeared on the cover of time magazine. but people don't call them supermodels bcoz no one knows who they are eventhough they are highly acclaimed in the fashion industry. gisele is famous bcoz she's a former victoria's secret angel and that she's dating tom brady & dated leo dicaprio. that's why people view her as supermodel. that's why i said, "to be called “supermodel” means the model has become a household name." i think adriana & alessandra have done that too. adriana's april 2006 US GQ cover is the year's highest seller & she's spiketv's hottest girl on the planet 2007. alessandra's website gets 250,000 hits a month & is 5th on fhm's sexiest women of the world.

Caroline is amazing. She's actually VERY healthy and she is very well known in the modeling world. IMO she isn't too skinny at all, she's in fact very fit. She is a supermodel and I'm pretty sure all models do runway considering Gemma Ward is the number one sought after (super)model in the world and she does them... she is only doing Paris Fashion week right now in order to promote her film coming out in October and the Japanese make up line she represents. Otherwise, Caroline is magnificent.

Alessandra and adriana are considered "supermodels"
and they have only had 3-4 serious contracts.
CT is a catwalk regular, adriana not so much, only on a VS catwalk and maybelline print.

I think Alessandra and adriana are considered "supermodels" purely based on the fact that they are models for VS. Everyone thinks VS model=supermodel; not true. But looking at Alessandra and adriana, their resume is NOT that lengthy, busy, impressive, or full of variety. Yet, they are pretty. I personally like Alessandra.
