Ok, Ashanti's not even a nominee, so that caption makes very little sense.
But what does make sense is the ABC is finally allowing the general public to vote for the winners. Although in order to vote, ABC is forcing people to sign up for accounts, which kind of blows.
Anyway, winners will be announced during the award show which airs November 18th @ 8/7c.

AVRIL LAVIGNE FAV FEMALE ARTIST?!?!?!? wow i didnt realize ripping off obscure bands, having your mongoloid talentless husband ghost write your music, acting like a spoiled brat, and releasing one of the worst albums in the past 10 years gets you a nomination into that catagory.

the donnas vs rilo kiley this year.....the reason id pick the donnas....Alison Robertsons guitar playing just keeps getting better, its an amazying Party record from prolly the quintesential party band, and, the donnas, now that the shine of being young girls playing in a band has worn off, they have to do ALOT more work to get heard and get distribution, especially now since none of them look like a pinup model.
