It´s amazing how some women simply stop taking care of themselves after having babies (Melissa, Britney...). And it is possible to be in good shape after that: I know a woman who is 39 years old and she´s already a granny! However her body looks great and it´s in better shape than many 20 something girls´s bodies I have seen.

Well, quite honestly, priorities often change after women have children. People that decide to not go with a nanny or other help my not have the time to get fit and trim....Nor the desire.
I work with people that spend their entire lives trying to become lawyers....They have a child and poof...they are gone....Priorities change.
