How utterly cool is Natalie Portman?
Natalie Portman may lose her noggin in “The Other Boleyn Girl,†but in real life the 26-year-old has a very good head on her shoulders. In fact, Portman's doing such a bang-up job of handling international celebrity that it makes her underwear-eschewing, publicly-melting-down peers look even more ridiculous when they try to blame their foibles on the media or the paparazzi.
In an age of starlets gone wild — and the pursuit of same by the insatiable scandal-sheet press corps — Portman has risen to the top of her profession with smarts and class. Even if all of her film choices weren't the greatest — anybody remember “Where the Heart Is� — she's hit upon a winning formula for playing the fame game, and her peers would do well to follow her lead.

I jerked off to Letterman for the first time the other night when she was on. That dress she had on was hot and she was really showing off a lot of leg during the whole interview. She was not as silly and funny as she has been in past interviews, but still a really good guest compared to airheads like Lindsey and Paris.

Hugh - I saw her on Letterman too and she looked stunning as always. I didn't go as far as jerking off, but she was showing off her amazing legs.
Phil - Just because someone doesn't smile in every single picture, it doesn't make them a bitch. She seems like a sweetheart and very down to earth given her sucess.

I don't see anything wrong with her not smiling while she signs autographs, at least she is signing them. I mean so many "stars" with not even a twentieth of her talent or beauty won't even sign when they're asked.

I'd rather they looked plain than forced a smile. Of course if I ever asked anyone for an autograph, I'd try to say something witty but they'd find it creepy and I would be promptly pepper sprayed. Then I'D be the one with root canal look on my face. Of course I live in WI so unless a jet has some engine trouble, I have nothing to worry about.

She is a fine actress and probably just as fine a person as you'd meet in the industry.
Funny that on pic1 someone has a photo from The Simpsons for Natalie to sign. Probably the episode where she was the voice of Bart's girlfriend or something. Scary that I might even know that bit of trivia.
