So we're probably the last site to do coverage on the American Idol finale but how many of you actually watch that show? Well, in case you were wondering, Phillip Phillips was named the next American Idol beating out Jessica. However, don't feel bad for Jessica, she's still going to score a record deal with Tommy Mottola set to produce. As for Phillip winning, Jessica said all the right things to not make her come off as a sore loser:

"I really think that Phillip deserves to win and I'm so happy for him."

"Phillip has everything about him. He has his funny side and his humble side and he's just an amazing, original artist. I think we all are talented and I think we all are going to have really successful careers."

Taking place at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, California, the 19th Annual Race to Erase MS themed “Glam Rock to Erase MS” gala took place raising $1.8 million for the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis and its Center Without Walls program. The program provides treatment and aims to find a cure for multiple sclerosis. The show started with a fashion show, continued with a live auction, and was topped off by a live performance by Stevie Wonder. The entire Kardashian/Jenner Family came out, yes, even Lamar Odom (who's still collecting that Mavericks' paycheck even without playing), for the opening of Scott Disick's RYU restaurant in NYC. Granted we don't know or give a rip about Scott Disick but who knew that he was a restaurateur? Well, it's our assumption that he's mooching off Kourtney's money to fund this operation and our guess it'll be the focus on an upcoming episode of that Kardashian show, whatever they're calling it this season. Anyway, file this under the "Who cares?" category because really, who's gonna want to go out of their way to put more money in this family's pockets?

The Wisteria Lane All-American Block Party took place at Universal Studios yesterday. The event was to support raising money for Cystic Fibrosis and was attended by cast member of ABC's Desperate Housewives; we're not sure what Jennifer Love Hewitt's involvement was. As you may recall, this is the final season of Desperate Housewives and the cast has already begun filming the series finale set to air on May 13th at 9/8c. The cast includes Robert Downey, Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (The Incredible Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury). Additionally, Cobie Smulders stars as Maria Hill, A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. In the film, basically Nick Fury recruits the team to protect the world. Nylon Magazine's 13th Anniversary Celebration took place last night at Smashbox in West Hollywood and as you can see, it was an all ages event. Amongst the attendees was Freida Pinto who is featured on the cover of Nylon's May 2012 issue. File this under the "That's just wrong" because photographers covering the 10th anniversary of Hermosa Beach Surfer's Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony decided to stay around and take photos of 12 year old Madison Leisle as she tossed a football on the beach in her tiny juniors size bikini over the weekend. Yes, we're probably really messed up for doing this post and getting the attention of you readers, you know, all 15-20 of you that can actually connect to the site, but I guess Madison would relish in the attention considering she's 12 and has her own Twitter account and is best-known for her role on the webseries The Walking Dead: Torn Apart.

I say we keep away from posting Madison ever again for another 4 years, you know, unless she gets into Bella Thorne territory... or if the site is even still up 8 months from now given that you probably crashed out trying to click to read this post. As for the photographers, keep doing what you gotta do to make that paycheck but 12 year olds in a bikini, we think waiting a while before bikini exploitation is a good idea.
