Both in New York but neither having been invited to the 2012 Met Costume Institute Gala, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Lindsay Lohan were Lincoln Center for the A&E Networks 2012 Upfront. As we mentioned yesterday, Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Client List has been renewed for a second season and as for Lindsay, she'll be starring as Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime movie Liz and Dick, a movie about Elizabeth Taylor's romance with Richard Burton. Naturally trying to hype Lindsay, Lifetime president Nancy Dubuc is quoted to saying that both Lindsay and Liz have much in common and it's not simply just for ratings (even though they had to take out extra insurance) that Lindsay got cast:

"The creation of the paparazzi really came from the beginnings of the relationship with Liz Taylor and Richard Burton and clearly Lindsay has had to endure her own challenges when it comes to that and the attentions that she garners.

"I think that this role will be a really interesting journey for her and hopefully one that the audience will embrace wholeheartedly." [Source]

Long story short, British mother Sarah Burge is apparently spending upwards of $30,000 to bring her eight-year-old beauty pageant star daughter, Poppy, to the U.S. in hopes to give shows like "Toddlers & Tiaras" a run for their money. The mother-daughter duo, who currently reside in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire, England, want to attack the American pre-teen beauty pageant scene.

If the photos didn't gross you out, then you'll be interested in knowing that Poppy even gets liposuction & plastic surgery vouchers as gifts from her crazy mom so that she can use them for treatments when she's older. All in all, the mother has splashed out thousands on clothes, hair and makeup and Poppy will even wear a special tooth cover to hide her two missing front teeth.

For those of you sick bastards who closely follow the pre-teen beauty pageant scene, lookout for Poppy to hit a series of under-twelve events in Atlanta later this month.

As sad as all this might sound, what will reality TV producers think of next?

So, what's up with Rihanna these days? Normally she's lookin' great from a fashion standpoint, but lately she's looking more & more exhausted, almost as if she stayed up real late partying, drinking & snorting coke and as a result, doesn't give a shit about her physical appearance the next morning when she's out & about. These latest photos were taken yesterday as Rihanna was seen running errands in NYC. Let's hope that everything is alright!

On the projects front, Rihanna will appear in the upcoming action flick "Battleship," which hits theaters on May 18. She promoted the film extensively in Europe last month, so look for her at huge L.A. & NYC premieres leading up to the release. Aside from the big screen, Rihanna recently stated that she's already working on her seventh album & even has a world tour in the works for 2013. Judging by these latest photos, let's hope Rihanna doesn't burnout anytime soon.

Call it a D-List party but Star Magazine was able to fill the place when it came to their "All Hollywood" event that took place last night at AV Nightclub in Hollywood.
