Judging by the last couple books we've featured, times are great for the Horndogg Coffee Table Book Industry (HCTBI). Last week we featured Diana Jenkins & photographer Deborah Anderson's "Room 23" and today we're recommending the equally juicy, 256 page "Scott Caan Photographs Vol. I." It's nice to know that Volume 2-10 are in the works!

Anyway, the only reason we're featuring this book is b/c of this crazy pic of Lake Bell (view her category). Here's what hte caption reads: "Scott Caan's close-ups of LA's loveliest, from Lindsay Lohan at Jared Leto's house (inset) to Lake Bell in the Bar Marmont bathroom..."

Bathroom?! So is this one of those "sneak-the-camera-under-the-stall-door" pics or what? Whatever he did to bag this photo, I wish there was a 500-page coffee table book filled with pics of random hotties using this exact same camera angle.

These were snapped over the weekend at Borders Books in New York City

With many years of hairy support here on Bastardly, we absolutely love Alyssa Milano, but with the recent economic downturn, I'd love to say that Alyssa's new book "Safe at Home: Confessions of a Baseball Fanatic " is going straight to the NY Times Bestsellers List, but sadly, that's just not the case.

Now, if she had thought the marketing through & included a DVD of her top five favorite sex tapes with MLB players (she has slept with numerous the years), then I could make an excuse for the discretionary expense, but if it's just a story of her sounding off on how much she loves baseball, then I'm gonna pass.

These were snapped at the 5th Ave Barnes & Noble in NYC.

This book hit shelves on March 3rd & Amazon already has a couple used copies, so that doesn't bode well for the book's long-term potential (and by long-term we mean, 6 to 8 weeks). I haven't seen the book myself, but I'm sure at last 225 pages are filled with pics of Miley.

The book is meant for 9-12 year olds, so hands-off, all you 40-year old shady bastards. We know you're still gonna walk into the local bookstore & pretend to be buying it as a birthday gift for your nonexistent 9-year old niece.

Kendra Wilkinson, Holly Madison & Bridget Marquardt were recently at Caesars Palace in Vegas for a book launch event. I'm pretty sure when they weren't preoccupied with the task of pleasuring Master Hef, all three ladies put in countless hours writing this soon-to-be NY Times bestseller!

Ok, let's get back to reality for a second. The new book which features the three hotties on the cover was actually authored by Paul Ruditis. According to Amazon.com, Mr. Rundits apparently has a TON of experience with this type of stuff:

Cheri Oteri (born Cheryl Ann O'Teari;[citation needed] September 19, 1962) is an American actress and comedian known for her work on NBC's Saturday Night Live.

On April 26, 2008, Oteri's 69-year-old father, Gaetano Thomas "Tom" Oteri, was murdered in his Nashville, Tennessee home.[1] His roomate, country music songwriter Richard Fagan was charged with the murder.
