Just a quick heads up for any of you guys having trouble commenting or viewing posts. We're, once again, experiencing some bullshit server issues that's causing a lot of instability. We're working to resolve the problems.

Update on the Big Move
On a more positive note, our transition a new host is going smoothly and we estimate around 4-6 weeks more of this design, testing & moving drama. Our new home will be a fully managed setup with a very reputable hosting company that already hosts millions of websites like ours, as well as websites for large media outlets.

We're approaching this move as a complete relaunch of the site, so this includes a full redesign of every aspect of our current website. We haven't changed things for at least 6 years, so we're making sure to do our content & our dwindling readership justice! We're going all-in with this one, so let's hope it pays off at the end!

With the ocean of information swirling around, we obviously miss a lot of shit each day, so in an attempt to at least mention items somewhere on the site, we created a headlines section on the sidebar. This is a place where we link to articles all around the net---whether it's missed gossip, pics, serious news, or film reviews, it'll end up here.

So, if you read a lot of cool things (excluding porn) through out the day & want to quickly spread it to friends on MoeJackson, you can do it through the headlines section. Once approved for an account, you'll be able to hit a special page where you can post your headlines.

The only reason we hate making these updates is because shortly following each update, the site gets flushed down the toilet. As of right now, things are running smoothly, but all this downtime came at a huge cost to us w/ regards to traffic (it's too painful to think about). If any of you bastards experience issues when browsing or see something broken, please comment below or send me a PM.

Once again, we'd like send a big fuck you to the guy who hacked Reality Check Networks last month (at least that was their story). Why can't everyone just get along in this world? It would be so much easier, damn it.

Whatever the case, please keep us in your prayers for the foreseeable future.

The lack of updates is due to a scheduled maintenance we have going down right now. We're trying to beef up our hosting so that we don't have to deal w/ more downtime for the foreseeable future (in a perfect world where 'shitty luck' doesn't come into play, of course)!

Assuming nothing explodes in our face in the next few hours, we hope to be functioning normally this evening, so please excuse the lack of content today.

Last night we covered all our missing data---by "all," I mean comments and posts. Recovering everything else (private messages & guestbook entries) would've been too expensive and potentially lethal to our current archives, so we opted not to move forward.

We understand there are many lingering issues at the moment, but we're asking for a little more patience. Hopefully by this time next week, we'll be smooth sailing once again (knowing our shitty luck, I probably just jinxed everything).

To make things easier to resolve, we're trying to compile a list of items that needs to be repaired, so please sound off below in the comments. We have the user profile Track Tab issue on our list already.

Once again, apologies for all the unnecessary bullshit.

Believe it or not, but we're still experiencing annoying issues with the site.

We've taken expensive steps to help resolve the lingering issues in the coming days in hopes to have a smooth running site until some disgruntled employee decides to burn down our new hosting company. If that ends up happening, we'll be more than prepared since we're now storing all our data locally. We've learned that you can't trust anyone to do your backups---regardless of how much they want to charge for the task.

While we go through all the bullshit of moving a site from home to another, we want to thank all you guys for your patience and loyalty.

Wouldn't it be sweet to get hooked-up w/ a gig at Ubisoft for a week and learn the ins and outs of the gaming business? Well, that's exactly what's happening to Riley D., one of the lucky winners of the Coca-Cola Secret Formula Apprenticeship Program.

The program, that we plugged a couple months back, aspired to connect three young people to the worlds of Entertainment, Fashion, and Music for a once-in-a-lifetime apprenticeship experience.

Over the next few days we'll follow Riley D. as he takes on a week at Ubisoft - one of the leading international gaming companies, to help launch a new game, create buzz at a star-studded awards show, and finds out how to make it big in Entertainment.
