Brenda Song will be one of the stars in the upcoming "Boogie Town" movie, which is simply another one of those cheesy dance flicks. Here's more from the film's Wiki page:

The film is described as a "West Side Story" for the hip hop generation. The story takes place in a futuristic New York City, in the year of 2015 where dancing battles are strictly prohibited.

Regardless of what you bastards think, look for this film in theaters later this summer.

Brenda Song is set to appear in Boogie Town with Marques Houston this summer. Here's what the Wiki had to say about this project:

Song is set to star as Natalie in the feaure film, Boogie Town with Marques Houston and Vanessa Simmons.[6] The film is a modern day West Side Story and is set in a futuristic New York City, where dancing battles have been strictly prohibited. The film is about Micah (Houston) who falls in love with Natalie (Song) and the two become a modern Romeo and Juliet.[6] The film is distributed by Vivendi Entertainment and will be released in the summer of 2009.

Boogietown and the sequal to her Wendy Wu movie that really put her on the map. Hell, I even did a Wendy Wu post back in 2006 without really even knowing who the hell Brenda Song was.
