Anyway, here are a couple interesting facts about Brooke Burns...

In November 2005, Burns broke a bone in her neck after diving into a pool at her home.[2] A friend, an ex-firefighter, found her, stabilized her neck, and called an ambulance. As a result of the injury, she has a titanium fusion in her neck comprising a plate, rod, and ten screws.[2]

She smokes cigars, and has appeared on the cover of Smoke Magazine's Winter 2007/2008 edition.

Brooke Elizabeth Burns (born March 16, 1978) is an American actress and former fashion model, perhaps best known for her role on Baywatch and Baywatch Hawaii. She co-starred in the ABC television series Miss Guided.

In 2001, she appeared as Vicki Vale in one of several "Batman" commercials for OnStar, opposite Bruce Thomas' Batman, reprising the role made famous by Kim Basinger in the 1989 Tim Burton-directed Batman film. For her minor role in the 2001 film Shallow Hal, the Farrelly brothers wrote a specific part for Burns after her audition.

She appeared in the made-for-television Lifetime film, "Trophy Wife" in 2006. [Wiki]

Nail Salon Workers - Repeated And Prolonged Exposure To Variety Of Chemicals Could Put Workers At Risk

They pamper us and make us feel special. They work long hours for low wages and English is usually their second language, if then. They are mainly Vietnamese women who make their living giving manicures and pedicures. They also suffer from acute health effects associated with the chemicals they use in that work, according to a new survey from the Northern California Cancer Center and Asian Health Services of Oakland. This is one of the first such surveys to focus on this understudied workforce.

"Nail care workers routinely handle products containing many potentially harmful compounds, some of which are carcinogens or have endocrine disrupting effects, yet are virtually unregulated," explained Thu Quach, MPH, of the Northern California Cancer Center. "Our survey is part of a pilot project designed to characterize Vietnamese nail salon workers in Alameda County, California in order to inform future health interventions and reduce occupational exposures. Nail salon workers are likely to have higher exposures to these compounds than the customers they serve." Source

It's been 8 years since Brooke Burns ran up and down the beach in a red bathing suit on Baywatch. Oh, I know. You only watched it because you love the musical stylings of David Hasselhoff. Whatever. When I told her I'd heard she had a birthday coming up, she fired back, "I dooooo!" When I asked if it was a big one, she said, laughing, "It is giant. It's 21." Me too!, I said. "I can't believe it. I'm starting a new decade. (Brooke Burns turned 30 on March 16th.) "I'm really excited about it actually. All my girlfriends, when they turned 30, had this new sense of empowerment. Yeah! ABC sets debut date for 'Miss Guided'

ABC has set a debut date for its new sit-com "Miss Guided," starring Hollywood actresses Judy Greer and Brooke Burns.

The new half-hour comedy series, for which actor Ashton Kutcher is executive producer, is slated to premiere March 18 on the ABC Television Network, following a 90-minute episode of "Dancing with the Stars." It is then scheduled to move to its regular night March 20 with back-to-back episodes starting at 8 p.m. EST.

In the show, Greer plays a guidance counselor who goes back to her alma mater to work and discovers the high-school experience has an annoying way of repeating itself. Burns plays her former nemesis and the school's new English teacher. Source
