If yesterday's post was 2012's Hottest Red Carpet post then today's might be 2012's Second Hottest Red Carpet post once again featuring the lovely ladies of the 2012 SI Swimsuit Issue. Some of the other ladies got single post love and while hotties like Jessica Gomes, Izabel Goulart, and Chrissy Teigen are all deserving of their own post too, we didn't come across nice full-length backside poses but nonetheless got a lot of sexy legs going on over here.

First of all, we already posted cover girl Kate Upton, last year's cover-hottie Irina Shayk & future cover girl Izabel Goulart. UPDATE: Don't forget about our 2012 Rookie of the Year, Nina Agdal!!

It's a real pity that we'll have to suffer through the Oscars red carpet after being showered with all these scantily-clad S.I. Swimsuit models. The truth of the matter is that this will be one 2012's hottest red carpets---at least until maybe the Cannes Film Festival (mid-May) or the MTV Movie Awards (June 3). Then again, Oscars aren't exactly known for countless hot models walking down the red carpet, so realistically speaking, our expectations shouldn't be too high to begin with. As an edible metaphor, think of S.I. Swimsuit Edition's launch party red carpet as a selection of your favorite deep-fried, zero calorie appetizers & desserts before you're force-fed an extremely underwhelming main course (this weekend's Oscars).

With that in hand, let's dive into the appetizers & desserts! The tastiest ones for me were newbies Michelle Vawer, Kirby Griffin, & Adaora, as well as the cover girl Princess Kate Upton & all those old-school faves Irina Shayk, Izabel Goulart, Anne V, Jessica Gomes, Chrissy Teigen & Alyssa Miller---Hey no one said I had to choose just one, right? To tell you guys the truth, all the women are beautiful & I'm just being a greedy bastard lost inside some fantasy world where I actually have a chance with these chicks. Then again, aren't we all just a few million bucks, a private jet & a yacht away from living that fantasy life?!

There's much to be said about the beautiful bikinis at the Salinas show during FFW Fashion Rio Summer 2012 because everyone was talking about it. Head designer Jacqueline De Biase puts together amazing color combinations for her bikini wear in outrageous summer colors and prints.

Some of her models, like the show's opening model Isabeli Fontana, sport peasant crop tops with their bikini bottoms. Flowing skirts are also there as well as summer mainstays like floppy hats, bathing suit bows, and stripes.
