Danica Patrick and Natalie Gulbis are considered amongst the hottest chicks in their sports. But when it comes down to it, are they two really that hot? Sure we've seen Danica in the SI Swimsuit Issue where she's looked good (probably in part to photoshop) but from last night's ESPY Awards, I wasn't overly impressed with either two. However, they're considered hot athletes (not compared to Allison Stokke) so that's their hook to get the buzz.

Danica Patrick, 26, first raced go-karts when her parents decided the family needed a fun way to spend time together. Born in Beloit, Wisc., she raced open-wheel cars in England before making her 2005 IndyCar debut. Patrick was the fourth woman to race in the Indianapolis 500 and first to win an IndyCar race, taking the Indy Japan 300 title in 2008. Patrick is making her second Swimsuit appearance. Source

Danica Patrick (born March 25, 1982 in Beloit, Wisconsin) is an American auto racing driver competing in the IndyCar Series. She was raised in Roscoe, Illinois. Patrick was named the Rookie of the Year for both the 2005 Indianapolis 500 and the 2005 IndyCar Series season. In May 2006, she published her autobiography, Danica: Crossing the Line. After graduation from high school, Alana moved to Los Angeles and acted in various roles in films, television, commercials, and voice-overs. She has guest-starred in small parts on such TV shows as "Robbery Homicide Division", "The Bold & the Beautiful", "Beverly Hills 90210", and "Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher". Danica Patrick win has IndyCar looking good

Patrick's win won't silence all critics. Some say she must prove she can win a race that isn't determined by fuel mileage. She won in Japan after several leaders pitted for fuel in the closing laps. But a win is a win, as Darrell Waltrip wrote this week in congratulating Patrick. Waltrip should know; he won the 1989 Daytona 500 on fuel mileage.

Now the mission for Patrick is to show she has staying power near the top of the standings. She's third and has a bunch of confidence.

"I think that I've always thought that I was somebody that could compete for a championship, because I'm a consistent driver and hopefully smart out there," Patrick said this week. "But you know, what I had not done yet was win races, and it really does take wins to win championships." Source

Okay, you gotta be kidding me...sure, I'm using pictures of her in her racing outfit but I think of it this way. It's like, Brooke Burke's occupation calls for her to be dress in tiny bikinis and I post her in her element...so since Danica is an athlete I find it necessary to post photos of her within her element of racing and this is what they race in....and that's sexier than someone like Brooke Burke, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Petra Nemcova??? Good job FHM editors!!!
