Eva Mendes has spent the past week in Europe, appearing at the Venice Film Festival to promote her new movie with Nicolas Cage, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. 2009 is more than half over but Eva still has a couple films slated for a 2009 release: Last Night and Queen of the South.

Over the weekend Eva Mendes relaxed aboard designer duo Stefano Gabbana & Domenico Dolce's yacht in Portofino, Italy only to be surrounded by dudes in their Speedos. Eva wasn't looking for a gang bang with a bunch of gay dudes (at least we don't think so) b/c her boyfriend Peruvian filmmaker George Gargurevich was also spotted on on the yacht.

Anyway, the last time we saw this trend in action was when Katie Price decided to pay a bunch of dudes to sunbathe with her on a yacht during her vacation last month in St. Tropez.

Eva Mendes is currently in Italy with boyfriend, George Gargurevich, and spent some time rockin' her bikini bod and showing off her Cuban booty.

Since last year's appearance in The Spirit, 2009 hasn't seen any Eva. But in fact she's got a few projects in the works that are slated for 2009 release; Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, Last Night, and Queen of the South. Hopefully she's show some boob in atleast one, if not all three; highly unlikely.

These were snapped just yesterday as Eva was out & about in Beverly Hills running some errands.

It's so sad that Eva's last movie "The Spirit" bombed at the box-office late last year as the financial crisis raged through the world. I really think she has a lot of potential to succeed in Hollywood, so it's fairly obvious that she's sleeping with totally the wrong group of people. Evan Mendes needs to a rich & powerful Jewish man in her life, damn it! Trust us on this, Eva! Just look what bagging a Jewish boyfriend from NYC did for Heather Graham's career...

While Scarlett Johansson was on the cover of this month's Allure Magazine, Eva Mendes does a slightly boring shoot for the magazine's January issue. Both are co-stars in the upcoming "The Spirit" movie set to release nationwide on Christmas Day and they've been traveling around w/ mother fuckin' Samuel L. Jackson on a worldwide promotional tour.

Anyway, let's talk about Eva's Allure layout & interview! The layout & cover pic could be much hotter from a bastardly standpoint. Eva's a really beautiful woman, so a simple white tee & boring smile doesn't do her justice. Compared to Scarlett's shoot, Eva got jipped!!!

On the interview side, Eva touched on many pressing issues:

Eva on the Calvin Klein ads that were banned because they featured a nude Mendes rolling around in the sheets of a bed: “Can you trust me on this one for a second? My nipple — it is soooo not a big deal. You just see the nipple for a split second while I’m rolling around on a bed. That’s it!”

Eva on whether her stunning looks are helping or hurting her Hollywood career: “I’m not one of those actresses who says that because of my good looks I don’t get offered the right things. No! I’m not being offered the things I want because I haven’t shown my ability as an actress.”

Eva on her never-confirmed but highly reported stint in rehab last winter: “Ummmmm … I’m not confirming or denying rehab.”

Eva on her ditzy reputation: “I’m a smart cookie. You can’t do what I do and not be smart. But am I an intellectual? No. And I think that’s what I mean when I say I look for brains in men.”

Last week we posed the question of which chick Samuel L. Jackson should have sex with. Well, Scarlett won, not overwhelmingly but a nice majority. These folks are promoting the hell out of this movie that all the travel and away from the US must be taking a toll on these 2 chicks. I mean, Scarlett is recently married and Eva is a freak. So you can only assume that they must be getting really close after these premieres and photocalls. I'm sure Scarlett's husband wouldn't mind if she was getting her sexual needs from Eva, as long as it was documented on video and Eva is a freak so she's down for whatever. They needs to get Paz Vega back in the mix for their panty raids.

Last week Eva Mendes was busy promoting The Spirit with Scarlett Johansson that we would've loved to have some lesbian action between the two of them. In all the posts of Eva that I've done, never have we filed her under the Wardrobe Malfunctions category... we've had the implied nudity crap in Maxim and who can't remember the strategically placed flowers photoshoot. We can just watch Training Day to get a view of her rack but I want more than just tight outfit booty shots to post here.
