High School Musical 3 (HSM3)
Vanessa Hudgens vs Ashley Tisdale: Another Australian HSM3 Premiere
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 in the middle of the damn afternoon by Moe
These were snapped yesterday in Melbourne, Australia. From a hotness standpoint, Vanessa Hudgens took our suggestions from the Sydney HSM 3 premiere & looks to be ho'ing it up fairly well in Melbourne. Ashley, on the other hand, needed a slightly sluttier dress to compete w/ Vanessa this time around. No worries, though! She'll get plenty of opportunities b/c I'm sure there are about 30-40 more HSM3 scheduled premieres left to go.
With the Melbourne premiere, HSM 3: Senior Year has officially premiered 352 times at various locations around the globe and currently holds the record for most premieres for a single movie in Hollywood history. Congrats to the HSM team!

Photo Credit: TitoMedia.com.au / Splash NewsZac Efron, the dude trapped in the middle, is one seriously lucky bastard. Assuming he's like any other heterosexual dude who knows how to use his power when surrounded by hot chicks, Zac & his two girlfriends have probably experimented with a Bastardly Threesome.
Such a scenario could've played out in few ways...
1. While Zac's getting it on w/ Vanessa inside her trailer, Ashley accidently enters. Bastardly Threesome ensues.
2. While Zac's cheating on Vanessa & sexing up Ashley inside her trailer, Vanessa abruptly enters. As the couple fights it out inside Ashley's trailer, their fighting morphs into make-up sex (doesn't it always?). Ashley doesn't sit on the side or quietly leave her trailer, but rather, joins in the fun. Bastardly Threesome ensues.
3. Any other scenarios out there?
Anyway, below are pics from the Australian premiere held earlier today at George St cinemas in Sydney. From a hotness level standpoint, Ashley Tisdale looks about 30x hotter than Vanessa. Sadly, Vanessa was smoking some major fashion crack...

Q: What's going on with you after "HSM"? I know you have a production company. Are you going to get involved behind the scenes?
A: Oh no. I have a Fox movie feature coming out in January. It's called, "They Came From Upstairs." It's an action comedy and I'm real excited because it's different than "HSM3." It was a great experience. I am producing as well. I'm learning and being creative with all these different projects, and I'm hopefully going to make other kids' dreams come true as mine have. I'm doing my second album. I'm recording it right now. It probably will be released maybe in February. I have a lot of creative control over it. I co-write and record nonstop. I just want to take my time on it because it's so important to me. Source
High School Musical 3 Getting Slammed By Critics

I know this isn't exactly the type of flick the Bastardly Community runs out to watch, so I'm sure you people will find the reviews a bit refreshing. Although, I'm sure this flick will go on to break records & earn millions for Disney & Co.
NYTimes writes...
All very sweet, you say. But what does it all mean?
To which I would reply: Does it have to mean anything beyond the pleasure of entering a dream of high school harmony?
So what if these wholesome singing-and-dancing characters include no teenagers you or I will ever meet? If you dropped the term “friends with benefits” to any of these absurdly idealized youth who appear to have descended from the same planet that produced “The Brady Bunch,” you may rest assured they wouldn’t know what you were talking about. The only things on their minds besides basketball and musical comedy are choosing a prom date and a college to attend. There are wistful moments, but no sulky ones. The one lingering kiss is delicate.
Hollywood Reporter writes...
For "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," Disney has re-assembled the cast, along with director-choreographer Kenny Ortega and screenwriter Peter Barsocchini, to provide the same mix of innocent teen romance and eye-popping musical numbers. The result unfortunately has the blandness of a mediocre TV sitcom, but that won't deter young audiences, who should turn the movie into a major hit at the box office after it opens Friday (October 24).
[...]
The bright colors are appropriate to the bubblegum plot. But without more narrative punch or more variety in the musical numbers, the picture quickly grows tedious. Even within the confines of G-rated fluff, it could have been a lot sassier. [Via Reuters]
The movie opens in theaters today, so don't forget to check it out!

Photo Credit: INFdaily.comThe cast of the latest High School Musical movie was on hand for the big premiere in Madrid. Vanessa, Ashley & gang have flown to large European cities plugging the flick to the masses, so obviously Disney is opting for a more traditional marketing strategy with HSM3 as opposed to what they did last year when they accidently leaked nude photos of Vanessa Hudgens to help push HSM2.
