Just last week there were rumors that Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy had split but quick to put out the fire was Jamie's reps saying they were made-up. The rumors came up when Perez Hilton claimed that he'd been cheating on Jennifer with his ex, Shannon Funk.

These were snapped a couple days back as the couple hit up Tony's for dinner.

As we've said before on numerous occasions, engagement is like getting married in Hollywood---except much cheaper & without all the legal bullshit that comes with getting a divorce.

Jennifer Love Hewitt knows this path all too well. As of January 1st, 2009, she was engaged to Ross McCall, so after breaking shit off with him, she slept around w/ her "Ghost Whisperer" costar, Jamie Kennedy (he probably got Jenn on the rebound after Jennifer came on the set one day with her heart shattered in pieces following her broken engagement. By "rebound," we mean Jamie probably had rebound sex with Jenn inside her trailer. That bastard!).

Seeing how Jennifer was raised only by her divorced mother in Texas, Jamie Kennedy perfectly fills the father role since he's nearly 10 years older than her. After dating countless dudes over the years, let's hope this finally works out for her! Then again, if this one also falls through, at least she'll have something to remember Jamie by (and, we're not referring to the engagement ring).
