Katharine McPhee released her single for "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and now in partnership with Daily Motion they are having an online karaoke contest for users to sing their versions of the song.Following McPhee's recent release of holiday classic "I'll be Home for Christmas," fans are asked to record their own vocals for McPhee's rendition, uploading the finished product to Dailymotion. The grand prize winner will be determined according to the total number of times the video is selected as a "favorite," and the creator of the selected video will receive an iPod Touch as well as a personal phone call from McPhee. Looks like Katharine McPhee will be working on a second album this year after she gets through filming all those movies. What the hell did she sing on her first album?It was announced on January 27, 2009 that McPhee signed a new record deal with Verve Records (a label group under Universal Music Group) and that her album would be out by the end of the year. "The album she is working on will show many new sides to her talents as an interpreter and a songwriter, and show everyone just how special she is," Verve Music Group president/CEO Bruce Resnikoff says.
