The pair star in new thriller Lakeview Terrace and Washington admits that she was amazed by his dedication to the job.

She tells the New York Daily News, "The thing about him is that you better make sure you have your homework done, because if not, he will do it for you.

"He'll move a light, hand you your script pages, whatever needs to be done. He's so professional, so he expects the same of everybody around him, which I love." Source

Breakthrough Actor: Kerry Washington



The last couple of years have brought thirty one year old actress Kerry Washington the boost that her career needed appearing in some high profile movies.

Before beginning her acting career Washington completed her education attending The Spence School in Manhattan, where Gwyneth Paltrow was also a student, before earning a degree in theatre from George Washington University.

She made her career debut on 1994 in a television movie Magical Make-Over before becoming a member of the sketch comedy educational series Standard Deviants.
