Ratings for The Hills is down but don't tell that to Kristin Cavallari, she thinks their the number 1 show in primetime.

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but The Hills' ratings are most assuredly down this season, by an average of more than 30 percent overall. (The season started out weak with 2.1 million and sank to 1.72 million last Tuesday.) Still, when asked about the lower ratings, Kristin insisted: "No, they are not! We had one drop because of the Hip Hop awards on VH1, but then they went up the next week." Source

Kristin Cavallari (and Audrina Patridge) better do something to get the rating for The Hills up again. Reports are that the latest season of this show is down a third from levels last year. Could it be because Kristin sucks and Lauren Conrad was actually compelling or are people finally realizing that they have better things to do with their time? Source

Anyone care to catch the season premiere of The Hills the other night? Well, I guess Kristin got into a fight and here's her thoughts about that drama...

"I think it's funny, I really do," she told MTV News on Tuesday night. "The huge fight that we all get into right off the bat [in the season premiere] — I literally did not do anything, and these girls just kind of attack me out of nowhere."

"I cannot wait for everyone to see this, because they really are talking about how 'the bitch is back,'. But really, I didn't do a whole lot to become this bitch." Source

So looks like MTV will really playing up this whole "The Bitch is Back" angle for Kristin Cavallari and now it's going to be a feud between Kristin and Audrina Patrige. Kristin says that she likes playing this whole "bad girl" image and for those of you who care, the new season of The Hills starts on September 29th.

If you recall from last week's VMAs, we posted practically every worthless chick from The Hills; Kristin Cavallari, Holly Montag, Stephanie Pratt, and Lauren Bosworth... even Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo from The City, but no Audrina Patridge (as Maxim puts, the Queen of The Hills) or Heidi and Spencer. Well, looks like Audrina ditched the event because of Kristin Cavallari, as you know, they don't like each other.

"When MTV was going to have her present with Kristin Cavallari, she told MTV she was not going to be able to present. Audrina hates Kristin, and MTV sprung this on her last minute, so she decided to cancel. She doesn't even want to be in the same room with Kristin." Source

Kristin Cavallari says that she's lost weight due to stress. What kind of stress does this chick have? She's on The Hills, how stressful is that? What kind of stress goes along with promoting that show???

Cavallari says she's too busy promoting her MTV reality show to "sit down and pig out. I'm just on the go so much."

To keep her energy up, she "always has an energy bar with me, just in case I don't have time to eat, which is so bad," Cavallari tells Us. "I'm not normally like that. It's only been the past month. I have low energy and I get headaches a lot. I need to be better about it."

As for her diet...

"I'll usually have eggs and fruit for breakfast and I try to do a salad with chicken for lunch. I try to eat really healthy," Source

Kristin Cavallari recently addressed a couple of issues with US Magazine, the first being her supposed relationship with John Mayer and her MTV-fueled feud with Audrina Patridge.... they really want you to watch the new season of The Hills.

"I literally met John one time for five minutes. I am single, I'll tell you that. I'm 22. Why have a boyfriend? I'm having fun."

...and regarding Audrina

"We literally just don't see each other. I don't have a problem with her. If she has a problem with me, that's a whole other story." Source
