Social worker Emily Jenkins (Zellweger) thinks she has seen it all until she meets her newest, most mysterious case, troubled 10-year old Lilith Sullivan (Ferland). Emily's worst fears are confirmed when the parents try to kill Lilith, their only daughter. Emily saves her and decides to take her in herself until the right foster family comes along, only to find out the girl isn't nearly as innocent as she thought. [Source]

The premiere was held a couple nights back at the MOMA in NYC.

Renee Zellweger needs to slow down with the crazy workout sessions b/c she's walking path to ultimately having a body like Madonnas. Granted, she'll be healthy beyond imagination for her age (she just hit 40 a few months back), but there's a line between looking straight up sexy and looking too muscular where it becomes unattractive.

With all the extra time on her hands, Renee should try standing in front of a mirror for a few hours and practice the art of making normal faces & casual smiles. From the looks of these pics & other sets in the past, it's obvious that whenever she's on the red carpet, she's always caught off guard by the cameras and as a result ends up looking extremely creepy.

Renee Zellweger was looking pretty rough just a couple years ago and though she's had a bad hair day this year, I'll say that she's looking atleast decent here at the My One And Only premiere.

Renee plays the lead, Anne Deveraux, and from the Wiki it says that she "embarks on a drive from city to city, looking for a wealthy man to fund a new life for her, and her sons."

I'm not saying that Renee Zellweger looks overly hot here but she's looking a lot better compared to some of the posts in the past. First off, I'm glad to see that the short hair look is long gone. But also, she doesn't have the scruffy look. Remember though, I'm not saying she's looking hot. And lastly, she's not having a bad hair day. Good job, Renee!

The film is about the true story of Dr. Dennis Slamon (played by Harry Connick, Jr.), who helped develop the breast cancer drug Herceptin. Dr. Slamon is a research doctor at UCLA Medical Center (Los Angeles), where he has developed the experimental drug Herceptin, which he believes will become a treatment for breast cancer. However, when the drug company stops funding for research, philanthropists, including Lilly Tartikoff (Angie Harmon) and Ronald Perelman help him continue tests of the drug. Renee tells press of wardrobe woes

Renee Zellweger wowed snappers in Hollywood as she hit the red carpet sporting a stunning black Carolina Herrera dress for a special screening of her new movie Appaloosa.

The actress giggled with her PR at the attention she was getting from photographers. Speaking to reporters she admitted squeezing into her on-screen costume had been a little trickier. She confessed her biggest challenge was the "corset at lunchtime, because nothing goes past [it]".

Renee stars alongside Viggo Mortensen in the movie and Ed Harris, who also directed the Western. She told reporters it didn't take much persuading for her to come on board: "Are you kidding? Ed Harris calls you on the phone, that's enough. Then you add a little Viggo, a little Jeremy Irons and that fantastic story, what's not to love?" [The Press Association]

George Clooney, Gordon Brown discuss Darfur

The 46-year-old star devotes much of his time to campaigning for aid to the war-torn region of Sudan, and earlier this year he was appointed a United Nations “messenger of peace”.

Zellweger: Life almost imitated art

She plays a journalist in new film Leatherheads, but Renee Zellweger almost became a reporter in real life too.

“I studied journalism,” the 'Bridget Jones' star told Access Hollywood. “I went to the University of Texas to write, so I had every intention of having that job, then something went really terribly wrong, and here we are.
