Salma Hayek was lookin' great last night at the 2009 ALMA Awards, which attempts to honor American Latinos for their success in television, music, and sports. Hosted by Eva Longoria & comedia George Lopez, the award show will air later tonight on ABC. Check the official website for more info.

She was honored with the Anthony Quinn Award for Industry Excellence for all her successes in life & career. Earlier this year Salma became a role model for millions of Latinas by striking the marriage lottery by tying knot with her baby-daddy, billionaire French businessman François-Henri Pinault. Congrats to her!

First off, excuse the delay in getting updates on the site. Believe it or not, but my Internet (courtesy of Bastards @ TimeWarner) has been down since Friday afternoon. I'm having to work out of a cafe today, so it'll be interesting to see when they kick me out...

Anyway, on to the Golden Globes---Salma Hayek's globes, to be exact! For the first time in a long time (probably because my Internet was down), I watched the entire Golden Globes! NBC's red carpet coverage sucked ass w/ interviewers who didn't know much & appeared wholly emotionless through the process. I love Brooke Burke, but the woman needs to stick to dancing & running around in her bikini. It's best for her career.

Ok, back to Salma Hayek's globes...As you bastards know, Salma broke up with billionaire sugar daddy Francois-Henri Pinault after she gave birth to their daughter Valentina back in September, '07. Now that she's collecting fat child support checks, Salma showed up to the Globes all alone yesterday wearing a juicy dress that succeeded in doing one & only thing: Showed off her huge rack to roughly two billion people around the globe (assuming most Indians & Chinese were tuned in).

So, any guesses as to the lucky producer/director/actor who took Salma home last night?

She gets billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault to father her daughter while engaged to him & then quickly dumps his ass to live the no-strings-attached high life on someone else's tab. Diddy gives around $25k in child support payments to his ex in support of his teenage son Justin, so just imagine what kind of cash flow Salma must be swimming in...God damn. As some of you might know, Pinault is head of French company PPR, a holding company that specializes in retail shops and ultra-pimp luxury brands (Gucci).

Salma Hayek has been confirmed for a recurring role on NBC's Emmy-winning 30 Rock, playing no less than former GE exec Jack Donaghy's new love interest.

“I have been a fan of [30 Rock exec producer] Tina [Fey]’s talent, both as an actress and a writer, since working with her years ago on SNL," Hayek says in a statement. " I am so excited to be part of such an intelligent, funny show, as well as working with the brilliant Alec Baldwin and the rest of the cast of 30 Rock." Source

Salma Hayek cancels engagement to Francois-Henri Pinault

ONLY weeks after being offered a blank cheque for a dream wedding, Salma Hayek has been forced to announce that her engagement to a French billionaire has been "cancelled".

The Frida actress and French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault – who have a 10-month-old daughter Valentina Paloma together – were reportedly set to marry later this year, but their spokesperson confirms the plans have now been “cancelled”.

The representative said: “We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been cancelled. There will be no further comment.” [Herald Sun]
