CW says Doherty's '90210' adventure might continue

"Shannen signed on for four episodes, which she has shot. It was Shannen's way of thanking her fans," said Gary Mantoosh, a spokesman for Doherty. "If the CW comes back with an offer for additional episodes, she's happy to consider it."

In a statement Friday, the series said it would "love for her to do more" and there's "definitely" a possibility that could happen.

In "90210," Brenda returns to alma mater West Beverly High as a theater success who's agreed to direct a school musical. Source

'90210' is back and as cheesy as ever

Uncle, “90210,” I cry uncle.

I got the feeling the goal of this “Beverly Hills, 90210” sequel was to pummel the audience into submission. Well, the show’s 2-hour premiere on Tuesday night more or less did the trick. (The fact that the show aired at midnight, thanks to the very long Cubs game that pre-empted the “90210” premiere on WGN-Ch. 9, may have had something to do with my inability to put up a fight.)

What helped me stay awake in the wee hours was a little game I played during the premiere. I timed many scenes to see if they lasted longer than 30 seconds. Once in a great while, a scene would last almost 45 seconds (an eternity!). But much of the rest of the premiere played like a choppy music video – lots of music, some talking, more music, more pretty people, more bling, more aerial shots of mansions and Beverly Hills road signs. Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty had uneasy reunion on '90210' set

"It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be," Garth told TV Guide in a new interview, according to People magazine. "I was a little nervous because I hadn't seen or talked to her in 14 years. Everyone was making it out to be such a big deal that I think we both fell prey to having that affect us."

Continues Garth: "I'm not much of a small talker, and I don't think she is either."

"We're both grown women, both professionals," she said. "Once we were working, it felt like a good fit." Source
