These beach photos were actually taken earlier this year but I'd yet to see better quality photos worth posting. Anyways, the horny rice chaser is Vivi Nevo; he's rich, that's all you need to know. In January 2007, Zhang was spotted holding hands and kissing her new partner at a New York basketball game. The man was identified as 41-year-old, Israeli multi-millionaire and venture capitalist, Vivi Nevo. The two were again seen together at an Oscar party in Los Angeles. Nevo, who has previously been tied to model Kate Moss, is a major shareholder in Time Warner and an early backer of The Weinstein Company with whom Zhang is purported to have a multi-film deal.

She stated in an early interview that if she had not become an actress, she would have liked to have been a kindergarten teacher, as she "...love[s] children!" [Wiki]

Hugh Grant to get lost in translation with Zhang Ziyi

Grant is in line to play a British thesp approached to star in a movie by a Chinese film-maker, portrayed by Zhang Ziyi. The plot sees his character first falling for the charms of the director's translator, but soon recognising the real object of his affection in Zhang Ziyi. Hilarity ensues when the translator becomes the only person who can communicate his feelings, and so works the situation to her advantage. Source

Zhang Ziyi & Wendi Murdoch, BFF?

Zhang Ziyi and Wendi Deng Murdoch – the wife of media mogul Rupert Murdoch – took to the red carpet arm-in-arm.

In March, Wendi told Vogue that she, Ziyi and Florence Sloan – the wife of MGM boss Henry Sloan – are planning to start a film company together.

It is rumoured that the three women's first project will be a film based on The Empress, a novel by French-Chinese author Shan Sa. Source

Zhang Ziyi hosts in English for wildlife protection

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi is in the spotlight once again, but not as an actress. This time, Zhang Ziyi is hosting an English TV program titled "The Story of Wildlife," which aims to draw attention to wild animals facing extinction.

Zhang shot the program last December at a conservation area in Sabah, a region in Malaysia, Xiaoxiang Morning Post reported.

The trailer of the program shows Zhang visiting a tropical rainforest and introducing some species of the nearly-extinct wildlife. Source

Zhang Ziyi criticised for lip-synching in CCTV gala

Chinese Hollywood actress Zhang Ziyi was accused of lip-synching during the annual Spring Festival evening gala broadcast live on Wednesday night. The China Central Television (CCTV) program enjoys top audience ratings worldwide among Chinese.

Zhang, 29, an internationally recognized Chinese actress, lit up the stage with a pink outfit that drew envious gasps from ordinary girls.

She sang "Fairy Scattering Flowers," which was specially composed for her by leading musician Ji Zhongping. Zhang was alone on stage during the performance.
