The 2012 Billboard Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Hosted by Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell of ABC's Modern Family, Adele and LMFAO were amongst the big winners with Adele taking home the most including (to name a few) Top Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album while LMFAO took home six awards including Top Hot 100 Song and Top Duo/Group. Not to be outdone by NBC, FOX decided to have their 2012-13 Upfront Presentation in NYC at Wollman Rink yesterday too. FOX is adding five new shows including comedies The Mindy Project and Ben and Kate along with the drama The Mob Doctor. Of course, Glee and New Girl will be back and so will American Idol, looking to regain viewership and The X-Factor which will feature Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judges. Sir Paul McCartney and daughter Stella held a private party at her boutique in L.A. to premiere his new video for "My Valentine" off the new album "Kisses on the Bottom". The music video comes in three versions starring Natalie Portman and Johnny Depp seperately and cuts of both them in the version below. As you can see, this was a rather A-List group of celebrities that came out for the premiere of a music video but we guess that when it's a former member of The Beatles that's more of a draw.

Since everyone & their grandma walked down the red carpet at last night's Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, we figured it would be best to categorize the photos in batches.

First up are the safe & boring women on the red carpet. These are women who are either too afraid to take fashionable risks, don't give a shit about what they look like in front of millions, too cheap to hire a stylist who can think outside the box on their behalf or simply have bad taste. Whatever the case, these were the "blah" outfits that simply got overlooked because they had nothing special to offer---not ugly, but not great either. The Oscars are right around the corner, so let's hope these ladies can turn their shit around in the coming weeks. Chop-Chop!

Unlike the overload at the CBS, CW, and Showtime TCA Party, FOX's version was a bit smaller with less new shows to plug. Well, we know that Heather Morris, Jayma Mays, Lea Michele, and Naya Rivera are doing fine on Glee while Cat Deeley continues her hosting gig on So You Think You Can Dance, and Nicole Scherzinger is apart of X-Factor and that's a big deal. However, with Zooey Deschanel, she stars in the new series New Girl and we know that most Fox shows don't last through an entire first season so we might as well plug it while we get the chance. Oh, as for Jaime King, she's on CW's Hart of Dixie so I have no idea why she was invited.

The show will star Zooey Deschanel as Jessica Day, a well-liked, bubbly, and adorable woman in her late 20's who is trying to get over her surprise breakup with her model boyfriend. She eventually finds a new place to stay when she moves in with three single guys: Nick, a bartender; Schmidt, a professional and modern-day casanova; and Coach, a former athlete turned trainer. Rounding out this unlikely bunch is Jessica's street-smart model friend Cece. Together, this group of friends try to help Jessica learn a lot about love, life and mostly about herself, while at the same time learn a lot about themselves. [Wiki]
