Sasha just attempts the hardest jumps possible... maybe she should tone down the difficulty level of those particular trouble jumps so she can land them.

For the record though she won the nationals with that program.. and she scated it 100% clean. So its not like she's never done it. Bad luck for her with two bronzes in a row.. and what puny metals those are.

I stopped being a Sasha fan after the 2006 Olympic long program. She's a poseur. She can't jump. It's been proven once and for all. She acts like skating is all about stretching and posing and hopes it'll be good enough to win gold. Uh, no. If Sasha doesn't want to practice the jumps much, she should go the fuck home and stop wasting our time. I think she is a stupid, spoiled little cunt. I am through with her. I don't care what happens to her anymore.

Sorry AnnClaire, but she did not skate her long program clean at nationals. She bobbled on one jump and double-footed on a second. That is not skating clean. Her scores were extremely generous, as they were at the Olympics.

Sad to say, but I've never seen her skate a perfectly clean long program in competition. Most of the time, it's not a question of if she's going to fall, but when. Cohen has a focus problem that all of her coaches have not been able to resolve. At this point, at the age of 21 when she should be at the top of her career, she's still battling the same issues that have kept her from winning so many times before.

these are damn funny, but cmon, it is impossible to hold a normal facial expression in skating. sasha's the only one i've seen who looks semi-human in a midair spin photo. one thing about the judging-- sasha gets 1 point every time out, just for being sasha, but i think that goodwill may be used up. regarding "posing", yes there's a certain amount of that-- skating is basically jumps, spins, spirals and footwork. sasha dominates in the last 3. but the tide is toward jumps

Finally someone agrees with me. Whenever i say my opinion of Sasha's inability to jump ppl attack me and say that she is great but mistakes happen once in a while. Its true though. She falls ALL the time. She should go into ballet where her grace and artistic skill would be apprecitaed more. For ice skating you need to know how to jump like a pro. Take a look at Slutskya. Not the prettiest face, not the nicest outfits, not as much grace as Sahsa but the girl can jump and thats why she is a better ice skater.

She can even do impossible things on the ice.
