You can't pick and choose what brain damage does to you. It can make you behave inappropriately in a social situation and you can't even help it. You need somebody to kindly let you know that you are being inappropriate so you can tone it down. The brain is a complex thing. Seriously, it can't be good to have people talking bad about you when your behaviour is something you have limited control over. Yes, it's difficult for people who encounter this behaviour but people need to learn to accept and deal with people like this, and let their kids know it's nothing personal that that individual is ill, instead of forcing people with this type of brain damage to stay at home in case they offend anyone.
