I don't know about you bastards, but I'm really diggin' this outfit! OW! Before you guys start hating on Julie, let's not forget that she hit 37 earlier this her, so major props to her for keeping it altogether! Here's the latest:

She will be the lead female character Eunice in The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day which had a limited release on October 30th 2009 and has been cast in another indie film called Bedrooms as Anna.[9] She has recently been cast in the upcoming movie Answers to Nothing which is scheduled for a 2010 release. Julie Benz stars as Eunice in The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. She plays William Dafoe's character's protege since he didn't come back for the second film as Paul Smecker.

"I had some big shoes to fill with Willem Dafoe," she says. "Eunice is a protégé of [Smecker's], so I wanted to maybe steal a couple of things he does here and there."

As for her continued role on Dexter...

"You're going to see them go to therapy and really start dealing with their issues. They have their issues and Rita is not completely innocent," Benz says. "Rita suffers from wanting Dexter to change a little bit ... she has faults and we get to see a little bit more of what those are throughout the season." Source

We've previously mentioned that Julie Benz will star in The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day but also, she's got Bedrooms with Moon Bloodgood in the works too.

Synopsis from IMDb: Bedrooms is an evocative story about the walls that separate people, the heartbreak and infidelity that's often the result and the redemption that comes from tearing those walls down. The film is told in 4 stories by 3 unique filmmakers. Three of the stories deal with married couples of various ages confronting the turning points of their relationships. A fourth story is interwoven throughout, providing bookends and context in the form of a story about two ten year old twins, who, tired of sharing their bedroom set out to build a wall between their beds to create their own spaces. In building the wall to separate, they come to fully appreciate all things that connect them. Bedrooms is a comic, sweet and gut wrenching exploration of human relationships, their myriad complications and the daily choice we face to either make them work or to move on.

One of the reasons I fought tooth and nail was because I read the script and thought, "This is the kind of programming I like to watch." I’ve been wanting to work for Showtime for a long time. I really feel like they are hitting their stride, and on the forefront of cutting-edge television. I just really wanted to be part of the show. It is provocative, it challenges you as a viewer, it raises so many questions about your own moral code, and it doesn’t force-feed you any answers. I watch a lot of cable television because of that. Julie Benz (born May 1, 1972) is an American actress. For her role as Rita Bennett on Dexter, Benz won the 2006 Satellite Award for Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

She is also going to be the lead role in the fifth film of the popular Saw franchise, Saw V playing a character called Brit. She has a lead role in the sequel The Punisher: War Zone as Angela Donatelli. Wiki
