Brittany Snow turns 23 years old today but celebrated her birthday over the weekend at Tao Nightclub in Las Vegas. Also, she recently landed the lead role in a Gossip Girl spin-off just announced last week.

The 22-year-old actress has been cast as the young Lily is the as-yet-untitled series, which is set in 1980s Los Angeles.

It will follow Lily as she moves from New York to live with her estranged sister, wild-child Carol (played by Krysten Ritter, whose credits include Veronica Mars and Breaking Bad). Source

Brittany Snow told the magazine, "Done with the trainer. I canceled my trainer.

I refuse to do the whole diet, fitness, style thing anymore. I just kind of go and have fun. I know what I like, I know what makes me feel good, and that's just what I do." Can’t argue with that philosophy!

Brittany Snow continued, "I think more than anything, the thing I've learned in being here is that everything else doesn't matter as long as you're taking care of yourself and you're having fun.
