One of my favorites in the biz, but sadly she's really underrated here in the US. Anwyay, the former Destiny Child's member was nominated in the "Song of the Year" category at the NRJ Awards held last night in pimped-out Cannes, France.

These were snapped a couple days back in NYC.

Kelly Rowland recently bagged a new agent (Jeff Rabham), so we're assuming he told her to attend this event. Besides Kelly, there were many other bigwigs from the black entertainment industry in the house (Spike Lee, John Legend, Vivica A. Fox, etc).

Kelly was in Paris over the weekend doing a performance at the popular VIP Room nightclub. Earlier this year she ended her professional relationship with both manager Mathew Knowles and former label Columbia Records in a desperate attempt to have a fresh start at re-igniting a successful solo career (a la Beyonce) and ultimately marry a multi-millionaire rapper like Jay-Z (also, al a Beyonce). We wish her luck!
